Proof of Purchase.
Proof of Purchase is a blog written and compiled by Riley Harmon, a junior studying media arts at the University of Oklahoma (my alma mater!). The project hovers somewhere between a voyeuristic art project and an uncomfortably personal diary where Harmon documents life through his receipts. It came about when he noticed the large number of receipts accumulating in his backseat every week. After analyzing each purchase and what it meant to his life, he began writing his thoughts on the pieces of paper and posting them online daily. I must say, it’s really addictive reading.
