Food Type

Barcelona-based artist Nuria Bringué Bergua is the creative mind behind Food Type, a typography book on healthy eating. Bergua cut food into uppercase letters, then photographed them and designed seven books based around the food pyramid and healthy eating. (Worth noting, none of the letters were retouched after photographing!)

Oh wowers, that is definitely an exercise of patience. Could you imagine how many times she must have had to redo letters?

Mmm. Combine those with a little olive oil and you have dinner. Those are amazing. The onion is the one that intrigues me the most. So many pieces, I’m shocked that it didn’t crumble apart. Simply beautiful.

    These are incredible!

It really must have taken a good while – how did they stop the fruit and veg begin to go brown?

    Inspiring
