Nothing makes me feel more prepared for travel than a solid dopp kit – do you have one? I actually keep doubles of a lot of my toiletries permanently inside because it makes packing for a trip much easier, and thereby me far less likely to forget something. I have a patterned one from Hammocks & High Tea that’s served me well for at least five years, I love it and can’t wait to take it along for a few more adventures this summer.

    Thanks for posting about dopp kits, I definitely think they are essential.

    It’s one of the few men’s products that really needs dedication. When I travel (which I do a lot), I need a place to put razor, shaving cream, tooth brush, deodorant, and my beard and hair products. I need it simple and rugged, ready for a nice hotel or a backcountry camping trip.

    I definitely enjoy leather, or a canvas that is more waterproof for the rugged climates.
