As difficult as it would be for me to tear up a book, I think I could somehow find a way to manage for the sake of making one of these to die for book wreaths. Yes, yes I could. Last year was one of the first in my life that I didn’t carve a jack-o-lantern to light up on Halloween night. I don’t want to end up in the same place again come Saturday, but time is running short and I’m a busy gal. There are lots of carveless pumpkin ideas floating around out there, but these two in particular might be just what the doctor ordered for my front porch!
I love the starkness of these. So striking and easy!
Simple and a great way to get rid of snagged stockings without relegating them to the trash bin!

Horse show ribbons have been popping up everywhere this fall and I’m completely smitten with the trend. I love this DIY project for prize ribbon place cards from Brittni of papernstitch over on 100 Layer Cake. Imagine all the possibilities – I’m thinking of a few myself.
Another one in the books, kids! I spent most of the week playing catch-up from having Monday off, but it was oh so worth it. Now I’m ready for the weekend: the OU/Texas football game, getting treat bags ready for Halloween and some time spent at the dog park. Have a happy weekend!
