I Can’t Help It.

I made a conscious decision this morning to not blog about the election. To not beg anyone to go and vote because it’s not only a right, but a privilege. To keep my mouth shut and just absorb the day and what is surely to be a historical election.

But as you can see from these words I’ve broken that promise. It’s been broken because it’s too important and I’m filled with too much excitement and anticipation to be quiet. It feels like Christmas Eve and I’m left wondering whether I’m going to get the great art supply kit that I’ve talked about for the past two months. Or whether it’s the not so cool sweater my mom pointed out at the mall the other day that will be waiting for me under the tree.

I need the art supplies.

I could think of worse promise to break 🙂 It’s become impossible for me not to talk about the election, and the more excitement there is around me, the more frantic i become.

I’m a regular reader and love your blog. I, too, am overwhelmed with excitement about this election. Even more so now that the results are in and Obama has won. Just had to share that you’re not alone in being excited!

    President Barak Obama…yeah!
