Each of Oliver Hickmet‘s latest pieces explores his understanding of where reality lies within the making, creating, and consumption of tourism fantasies. He starts with a picturesque postcard that’s then overlaid with actual soil from the place before being scanned and printed onto silk, and lastly being draped over a pink canvas stretcher.
