Fabio Viale

As of this moment Fabio Viale is absolutely one of my favorite artistic discoveries of 2017. Staying true to his Italian heritage, Viale adds an interesting twist to already stunning marble sculptures – intricate traditional tattoos. Full back pieces, covered hands, shoulders, and more. Have a look at his portfolio to see what else Viale can do with marble (hint: it’ll surprise you!).

Pajama Party

The holidays are the only time of year where I take stock of my pajama drawer. Bottoms with frayed hems, tops that have shrunk or just aren’t that cozy, all of it goes into either the trash or the donate bag. It’s also when I replace my slippers for winter and any other sleepwear that’s running low. There are so many great sales going on that it’s only good sense!

Carine Brancowitz

This time of year can make each of us feel like we’re performing in our own respective juggling acts. Sometimes something as simple as being reminded to slow down and notice the little things can take some of the weight off, that’s what Carine Brancowitz‘s illustrations are doing for me right now. She flip-flops back and forth between unexpected color palettes and black and white, occasionally intermingling the two.

23 Calendars + 23 Planners for 2018

With only 30 days left in the year it’s time to start looking forward to 2018! I’m roughly 110% ready to put the past twelve months in my rearview mirror and make the most of what’s to come. That means picking out a solid wall calendar for my office and a planner that I’ll carry just about everywhere. (I’m a pen and paper person, I have to write things down to remember them.) Do you buy the same one every year without fail or are you constantly looking to try something different?

Clover Robin

Illustrator Clover Robin clearly finds delight in all things botanical, a gal after my own heart. At first glance her work left me wondering whether it was drawn or collaged, and you know how I love it when I’m fooled by mediums! My walls are practically begging for a piece of her work to be hung upon them sometime soon.
