The Daily Eat: Deep Dish Quiche.
Maybe I should have considered having Egg Week closer to Easter. But I’ve never been the best at timing.
I adore breakfast for dinner and love dishes that can be eaten any time of day. Deep Dish Quiche fits that bill perfectly. A nice flakey crust filled with all that deliciousness is yummy at any time of day.

April 28, 2009 at 8:33 amI’ll make some using the crust recipe! But, I’ll try to find a filling that is lower in fat, know of any?

No, most quiches are pretty high in fat thanks to all the eggs and cream. I’d recommend looking on Cooking Light’s site for ideas though.

April 30, 2009 at 12:23 amHi, commenting for the first time on your lovely blog. I love the Daily Eat Series that you do. Eggs are one of my favorite foods. I actually tried to go vegan but couldn’t do it after three months because I missed eggs so much. Eggs in Purgatory over polenta is my go-to eggs for dinner dish. It is so rich and delicious.
