Win It: Rachel Pfeffer Designs.
I love patterns. Especially the organic variety, they just somehow seem so much more magical. The fact that plants and animals are capable of creating such beauty is mind blowing to me! I’m going stretch so far as to say that Rachel Pfeffer probably agrees. She decided to craft this handmade honeycomb necklace after photographing the real thing.
To Enter:

2. Leave your email address (those who do now are automatically disqualified)
3. Do it all before Monday, September 28th at 9am CST for a chance to win!

September 21, 2009 at 6:39 pmI LOVE this necklace! And, coincidentally, I also love honey. I could be a responsible adult and tell you my favorite way to consume it is in my morning tea, but I'll be honest and tell you it's with chunky peanut butter, on a piece of white toast!

September 21, 2009 at 7:57 pmI'm going to be totally honest here. I like to wait until I know I'm alone in the house and then I eat honey straight from the jar. I always start classy with a spoon, but within minutes I'm just using my hand. I've definitely consumed half a jar of honey in one sitting like this, and I'm not sure how I manage to avoid some sort of diabetic coma. I just don't see the point in messing with biscuits, toast, or any other middleman!

September 21, 2009 at 10:05 pm:: My favorite way to eat honey ::
(could also be titled one of my favorite childhood memories!)
When I was five we lived in Marietta, Georgia and we had a large wooded backyard. I used to sit on our back deck and watch my dad go out in his beekeeping suit to our beehives in the far corner of our property. He'd bring me back a big chunk of honeycomb and we'd sit and suck the honey straight from the comb and then chew the comb until there was no flavor left. I live in the Beehive state now and it's a shame I don't have room in my backyard to have bees… hopefully someday my kids will be able to experience one of life's delicious and simple pleasures. Absolutely, it's still my favorite way to eat and enjoy honey. Gotta make friends with a beekeeper!
Love love love this necklace! Thanks for the giveaway!

September 22, 2009 at 10:22 amso hard to think of my FAVOURITE…
We get a lot of snow in the winter and as kids, my mom would heat up some honey on the stove and we would take the warm honey and pour a long, thin line of it along some (clean) snow. As soon as it touches the snow we would take a popsicle stick and almost "roll" the cooling honey around the tip of it so it looks like a misshapen lollipop. The treat was then ours to enjoy!
And of course my mom will still make them for me when I'm home and there's snow on the ground…(sometimes i'll keep some in the freezer and stir them into hot tea!)
