Doily Valentines.

For the second time this week I’m mad at myself for having been ahead of the game and having my valentines finished. To me doilies normally seem overly stuffy and remind me of crocheting, but these Doily Valentines somehow manage to look chic and clever. I think it’s the decidedly un-Valentine’s Day colors that help get it done. (Note to Self: Ditch the pink and red next year.)

oh my goodness!! I LOVE this! It's such a beautiful way to give a little "oomph" to something that can seem a little underwhelming. I especially love the lined envelopes. Definitely something I may have to try out. (Wouldn't they be lovely for a wedding?)

This is such a brilliant idea! I have to sort out doilies at my work to go with lattes and then tend to rip a lot; now I found a second life for them! My recycling bin will be happy 🙂
