The Perfect Suit.

Bathing suit, that is. And no big surprise here, the best of the best all seem to be at Anthropologie. And although I have no business even looking twice at the top two, I’m fairly certain I could rock the socks off one of the ones on the bottom. Yes, yes I could.

February 18, 2010 at 6:00 pmI'm going to have to try on the black one. It's seriously cute — and I think it'd flatter my body shape quite nicely. I'm so glad classic suits are making a comeback. Let's face it: who really wants to run around with a slim piece of fabric positioned oh-so-uncomfortably and leaving your bum naked to the world? Not me.

February 18, 2010 at 7:08 pmI love the Sun-spots one… although for that price, I wish they had a little underwire to keep the girls happy!

February 18, 2010 at 9:11 pmGorgeous! There's a swimsuit company in Portland Oregon that sells similar retro beauties, and slightly less expesive:

I've been trying to decide on the black Shirley suit for ages – there's always shipping to Europe for me to consider, alas…

February 18, 2010 at 9:14 pmThanks so much for the heads up, Lynn! I'm sure many ladies will appreciate the lower pricing.

February 18, 2010 at 11:05 pmI love that pale two piece SO SO much. However I could never wear it because
a) my 'girls' are of sufficient girth to make chest ruffles a VERY BAD IDEA indeed.
b) I have had one too many see-through suit snafus to make pale bikinis an option for me. If only I hadn't been scared by humiliation at such a tender young age!
So I'll take the basic black thank you. Fortunately in this case, basic black also happens to be super hot!

February 20, 2010 at 12:21 amI loooove a high waisted bikini! I wonder though, if this is the sort of look that women like more than men. I mean, like I care, if I can eat lunch and still rock a two piece afterwards, then that's a suit for me.

February 20, 2010 at 3:01 amyes, i agree that these retro style suits are the best! but they do need to make some available with underwire… if anyone knows of any, i'd love to hear!

February 22, 2010 at 3:37 pmI'm with you on the top two! But the bottom one with the sweet little red polka dots…that could conceivably be within reach for this summer. (Something tells me you could rock any of the above, but I'll second your "yes you can" on the bottom two, for sure!)

February 26, 2010 at 12:56 pmyou could rock all of those sister…because you're gorgeous 😉
