Back to School.
A bit of a back story, I’m obsessed with office supplies.
But not just any office supplies. I want products that are well thought out, well-designed, and overall incredible. The kind that when I sit down in a meeting clients are going to comment and wonder where I found this off the beaten path notebook. “Oh, it’s because she’s a designer.” That said, back-to-school time puts a knot in my knickers because that’s when the best of the best tends to show up. Here are a few pieces I’d love to have, along with a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils.
Check out the detailed stitching on the Homework Pencil Pocket. List your appointments and fill in the clock on the included schedule sheets.
My first encounter with a Le Pen was at my aunt and uncle’s house when I was about 5. It was royal blue and immediately became my favorite pen to draw with whenever they babysat me. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I rediscovered the brand and I haven’t looked back since. One in every color, please.
Moleskines are simple and attractive on their own, but it would be nice to dress mine up a little with one of these covers. I’m also a notorious pen loser, so the little pocket on the front cover would come in handy, like lots.
These 5X7 minimalist notebooks have inch and centimeter rulers letterpressed on them, something that would definitely come in handy in my everyday working life.
This sounds totally anal, but I’ve always hated how the rings of a binder scuff the inside cover. I know, I know. Thank you, Semikolon 3-ring binder for solving one of life’s biggest problems.
These slide clips are just plain pretty. And functional. Perfection.
Notebooks designed to put inside a binder, labeled with numbers one through ten. The level of smarts here astounds me.
And last but not least, these rad magnets made out of vintage zipper pulls. For my, er, locker.
