Marshmallows Make Me Happy
And I’m willing to bet they make you happy, too, because I’ve met maybe five people in my entire life that feel otherwise. Marshmallows seem like the perfect winter sweet to me. Soft, light, and sugary. They don’t take themselves too seriously, and can be dressed up or down. Making my own is on my list of things I’d like to take on during this chilliest time of year.

January 26, 2011 at 9:04 amI made the standard vanilla marshmallows for gifts for friends this year (we gave them away with hot chocolate on a stick) and they were fantastic. They just have a lighter, fluffier texture than the store bought ones. And they’re so easy! But they look impressive.
I really want to try those chocolate malt ones. Have fun making yours!
