Farm Anatomy

I’ve been waiting for Julia Rothman’s Farm Anatomy: The Curious Parts and Pieces of Country Life ever since I caught wind of it being a work in progress. Rothman created 224 individual paintings for the project, no small feat, in an effort to learn more about her Iowa-born husband’s roots. Now that’s a labor of love.
