Encyclopedia Skull + Bone Canvases.
It physically pains me to admit to this, but sometimes Pottery Barn just gets me. They also never fail to surprise with unique (mass produced) pieces like these unstretched encyclopedia skull and bones canvases. Of course they consider them Halloween decor and I consider them Every Day of the Year decor, which is how I keep my wits about me.

October 21, 2010 at 2:05 pmThose are AWESOME. Wonder if I could make my own version of those… Don’t think my printer will print on canvas, but I definitely have similar images in some of my books. Gray’s Anatomy is public domain and they’ve got some nice bone images, too.
Bet I could make ’em cheaper, too. YIKES.

October 21, 2010 at 2:09 pmI’m thinking you could do it by printing on iron-ons. So tempting!

October 21, 2010 at 4:36 pmoh, I hadn’t thought of iron-ons. Those wide-format Epson printers can print on canvas (I know someone who has one), so I guess that’s why I was fixated on printing it right on there.
I’ll let ya know if I decide to try it!
