Gimme S’more.

Nothing says fall, bonfires, and gooey deliciousness like a s’more. Nothing. But the thing is, s’mores don’t have to be reserved for special outdoorsy occasions. If you get creative enough you can squeeze them into your daily food pyramid just about anywhere. (And who’s going to say no to that?!) {Click on the photo for the recipe.}

Let’s Go Camping.

{via ffffound}

Happy first day of Fall! In celebration of my favorite season, we’ll be celebrating all day long. First up is my idea of camping. I’m not exactly an outdoorsy sorta gal, so I much prefer it when a cabin is involved instead of a tent. (I’d also prefer not having to dig a hole in order to use the “facilities”, but that’s another story.)

Bike Shelf.

After visiting friends in San Francisco and New York who lived in the standard small apartment, furniture maker Chris Brigham saw a need for well-designed bike storage and took it upon himself to create the Bike Shelf. The solid wood conceals a steel square rod mount for hanging a bike, doubling as shelf space. It’s now a permanent addition to knife & saw’s shop.

101.

Photographers Sofia Wraber and Nanna Kreutzmann took photos of 101 men – aging from newborn to centurion – for their project entitled simply enough, 101. It put the idea in my head of taking the same photo of someone every year from birth to death. I think if I ever have children that might be something I try to accomplish.

PS: There’s a follow-up in the works starring one hundred women.
