Posted In just a noteThis has to be one of the very first rooms I ever bookmarked back in the day. (And by “back in the day” I mean before I ever started blogging.) I’m not sure where it came from or who is responsible for the decorating, but my-oh-my it’s lovely. White, light gray and yellow is always such an eye-catching combination but the true star of this room is the natural lighting. Goes to show how it can make such a huge difference in a room’s ambiance. The tufted yellow booths and armchairs provide that extra little something that keeps me staring and wishing I owned such a place.
Posted In house and homeA super simple Chilled Buttermilk Soup for those summer days that are just so hot you can’t even bear to look at the stove, let alone turn it on.
Posted In recipesTerrible Yellow Eyes is a collection of work inspired by Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. All work shown is not for profit and created out of love for the book and Sendak by contributing artists as well as blog author, Cory Godbey. A great collection of creativity that only makes more excited for the release of the movie later on this year! {via freshly{blended}}
Posted In collaboration/projectSometimes less is more (blah, blah, blah). Like this yummy Lemonhead Cocktail with only – count ’em – two ingredients.
Lemonhead Cocktail
3/4 ounce limoncello, chilled
5 ounces cava brut, chilled
Pour limoncello into a champagne flute, top with cava, and serve.
