The Daily Eat: BBQ Pizza with Fig, Gorgonzola and Prosciutto.


I’m not a big pizza eater unless it’s something really special. Blame it on overload in college or whatever, but there you have it. The brutally honest truth. That said, I really do like out of the ordinary pies, so that’s what this week is going to be all about. Enjoy Pizza Week!

Case in point: BBQ Pizza with fig, gorgonzola and prosciutto. Talk about food porn. This is the definition of the phrase.

Happy Weekend.

Yay for Friday! Booo for bipolar weather! It’s swung from 30s to 70s and back again not once, but twice this week. Make up your mind, Mother Nature – can a girl switch out her winter wardrobe for spring or not?

This Weekend:
• work on the never-ending project that is my china cabinet
• go to the Thunder game with my mom
• finish reading New Moon
• LAUNDRY! like three weeks worth
• spring cleaning in the kitchen
• watch the lat weekend of March Madness

I’m awestruck by iri5’s Ghost in the Machine project. Maybe I need to dig out my old NKOTB and Milli Vanilli cassettes…

“In this series I showcase a number of portraits of musicians made out of recycled cassette tape with original cassette. Also included are portraits made from old film and reels. The idea comes from a philosopher’s description of how your spirit lives in your body. I imagine we are all, like cassettes, thoughts wrapped up in awkward packaging.”
