Three Tier Wall Jewelry Stand.
I’m digging this Three Tier Wall Jewelry Stand. Pretty sure I’d be using the bottom row of hooks exclusively for scarves and small bags though instead of necklaces. It’s just too perfect.

Holley Portraits.
Check out the instructions for creating a Holley Portrait on Daniel Eatock’s site. I’m totally doing this…
Write a short text about yourself (300 words min / 500 words max) include interests, likes, dislikes, future plans etc. Using black ink make a careful print from your thumb. Enlarged your black and white thumb print to approximately the size of your face. Using a clean sheet of A3 paper, handwrite your text following the contour lines from your thumb print (you can use tracing paper, or thin copy paper) Final result: You should have a combination of your own words, in your handwriting, in the pattern of your finger print forming a personal self portrait.

Happy Weekend.
Woohoo for the weekend! Autumn weather finally showed up here in Oklahoma this week in the form of a cool front. I’ll take it! I’ve spent evenings layered up (because I refuse to turn on my heater just yet) and drinking tea. And nights cozied up in bed under layers of covers. This time of year always makes me homesick for Pennsylvania and the fantastic fall temperatures and changing leaves though.
This Weekend:
• start looking for recipes for Christmas cookies (I’m going to make a bunch to take home to PA with me!)
• purchase the last piece for my Halloween costume
• eat copious amounts of Halloween candy
• finish painting china cabinet
• Mistletoe Market with my mama
• clean kitchen
