And I’m Back.

Whew.

After a great trip home, a reunion that was less awkward than expected and a return trip delayed by an entire day I’m finally back. However, I am feeling quite rundown and even a little homesick/weepy, so posting will be light for the next few days. I returned to work this morning to a whopping 81 emails in my inbox and am slowly digging my way out from under them all.

Good to be back in Blogland!

In 3… 2… 1…

And I’m out. Closing up shop for a few days while I take a much needed trip back home to Pennsylvania. It’s ten year reunion time for this girl and I’m looking forward to seeing my family at the same time. I usually only make it home during the holidays thanks to a pesky little thing called vacation days. (Insert Grrr here). I’ll be back Monday – have a fantastic week/weekend all!

The Daily Eat: Eton Mess.

Continuing with our short week of indulging, I give you the Eton Mess. Made traditionally from cream, strawberries and meringues, this version is kicked up a little by infusing the cream with orange. It looks ridiculously tasty and debaucherous and is begging for someone to dig in!
