The craziest thing about this Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Ice Cream is that there are, in fact, no actual bagels harmed in the making of it. There is an incredible mix of two ice cream flavors – cream cheese and cinnamon – as well as Jack Daniel’s-soaked raisins and an option to top the finished product with bagel chips. Sounds like something I might create after a night of drinking, um, hot cocoa with friends.

Steamer trunks carry an old-fashioned coolness about them that never seems to get old. Add a few drawers and cool storage compartments like this Taka Trunk and you have an incredibly functional piece of furniture that becomes timeless.
I started seeing bits and pieces of Daryl Banks’ Crinoline Flowers collection a few months ago, but I had no idea who was the mastermind behind these striking, unexpected beauties was. Thanks to brocade design etc, I now know.
I love the idea of a bookplate in every volume on my shelves. They just scream ownership and love to me. Oh, and keep your hands off! These Peanut Butter Bookplates from pink loves brown are adorable and have really great type.

Aside from despising the name of the Funky Diva, I love everything else about it. Fizzy orange perfection.
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 oz Leblon cachaça
– 1/2 oz Aperol liqueur
– 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
– dash of simple syrup
– blood orange, cut into chunks
– Champagne
Muddle blood orange and simple syrup. Shake with all the ingredients except Champagne. Pour into a tall glass and top with Champagne.

Danish designer Louise Campbell’s latest work is modest and amazing: a trio of simple white bone china jars held together with pastel rubber bands. (Each jar comes with six so you can color-code your little heart out!) The storage containers are made by ceramics house Kähler.

This eiCrate would be the perfect alternative to an ugly old crate. You can even purchase covers and half beds to put inside. So cute and well-designed to boot. Love it.
