Win It: Linda & Harriett.
Linda & Harriett recently expanded their line of much sought after notepads to include thirteen designs! Measuring around 5.25 X 8.5″ and weighing in at 100 pages, they’re bigger than your average notepad for lots of notes and doodling. I have this one and it makes me happy each and every time I use it.
And lucky, lucky you because they’re offering up one of their lace notepads to one of you!
Here’s how to enter: I want to know if you could write one letter who it would be to and why. Your BFF? Your BF? Or maybe even yourself? You have until next Monday, May 18th at noon CST to comment. (US residents only please.) Please include your email address to be eligible. A winner will be chosen shortly after. Good luck!

May 11, 2009 at 5:39 pmI would write a letter to my DH (Darling Husband) who is a pilot and away so many days out of every month. We both get lonely – so I would love to hide it in his suitcase to brighten his day while he is away!
Besos!

May 11, 2009 at 5:51 pmI’ve been lusting over Linda and Harriett stationary for awhile now. So excited!
I’d write a letter to my sister-in-law. She’s having the first baby of the family in July. We’re not very close but I wish that would change. I’m an only child and she is my husband’s only sibling. She’s all we’ll have in terms of extended family one day and that makes me sad. I’d like to write a really nice note to her telling her that I wish we get closer but I’ve always been hesitant because I’m afraid she’ll think I’m crazy. Whew, I guess that’s it.
Fingers crossed!

May 11, 2009 at 6:57 pmI think I would write a letter to myself. A letter to remind me of who I am today. One that details what I love, what I hate, and all that lies in between. One that says how I know how certain things work, and still have no clue about others. One that expresses what I feel and what is important. A letter to look back on.

May 11, 2009 at 7:39 pmI would write a letter to a friend and former relationship that I’ve fallen out of step with. I’ve never told him how much he has hurt me over the years, and how I had always hoped things had gone and what I always dreamed our relationship and my life would be with him in it. Don’t get me wrong, my life is happy and full of joy, but there’s that little voice in the back of my head that screams at this unresolved hurt that I’m too afraid to communicate.

May 11, 2009 at 7:52 pmThis is quite pretty.
I would write to my FL, first love. There are apologies to be offered and questions to be answered and explanations to be said. 31 years later, wow.

May 11, 2009 at 8:07 pmThe letter I would write is one I’ve started many times but have yet to finish and send. My love for an ex-boyfriend made me blind to how some of my actions and behaviors were hurting his then girlfriend. I want to apologize, tell her that I do not expect absolution, nor is my apology a way to make myself feel better, it is a true, heartfelt request for forgiveness for intruding on her relationship and for causing her pain. I want her to know that I pray for her and that I wish for great happiness in her life.

May 12, 2009 at 12:52 amI would love to write a letter to my grandfather. He was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty when my dad was five. I’d want to tell him that he’s had a huge impact on all of our lives, even though he wasn’t there. I would tell him that I wish I could have known him, and I would tell him how incredible of a father my dad has been.

May 12, 2009 at 11:28 amI’d write a letter to my younger brother. He recently joined the army and is at basic training. Before he left, I kept picking fights with him because I was scared that he was going and I was unhappy with his decision. I’d like to tell him how proud of him I am.

May 12, 2009 at 4:01 pmI would write a letter to my grandmothers, they are both in the same place so they could share the magic letter. I would thank them for all of the love they have given me and how I look forward to sharing all of their many gifts with my new daughter. I would write how I wish they could meet her, but knowing that she has two incredible angels watching over her every single day warms my heart and gives me hope that she will grow to be a woman they will be proud of and that their many years in my life has led me to raise such a woman.

May 14, 2009 at 3:05 pmi would write a letter to no one in particular but to someone far removed from me to find and attempt to decipher at some unknown date in the future. as a lefty, i would attempt to pull a leonardo da vinci and write some nonsensical drabble backwards in a nearly unreadable code, thus causing some future researcher much panic and anxiety as the deadline for their dissertation or book draws near…

May 14, 2009 at 3:51 pmI would write a letter to my future husband. I’m not in a relationship but I think writing a letter to him before I know him would allow me to be really honest with all of my strange idiosyncrasies. You know, like a pre-warning of this is what you are getting yourself into, don’t freak out kind of letter.
Such a great giveaway! Thanks so much!

May 16, 2009 at 2:29 pmFinal exams for classes ended yesterday and now that I’m halfway through my college years I definitely think I would take the time to write out a letter to myself. What I thought I wanted to do with my life when I was a freshman is so different from the direction I’m headed in now. It would be interesting to see in another two years how much I’ve changed and grown.

My letter might be a little lame, but I would write it to myself reminding me of all the things I have to do! Thats all I can think about right now, and how cute this notebook is.

May 18, 2009 at 2:10 pmI’d write a letter to my ex. We never really had a chance to be totally honest with each other in the end, and I would tell him exactly what I wanted to tell him for all the months our relationship was on the rocks.
