Win It: Thoroughly Curly.
I’m thrilled to be able to introduce Thoroughly Curly Designs and her adorable calling cards as this week’s Win It contest! I think it’s always trรจs chic to have a personal card to hand out as opposed to a business card in certain situations. And lucky, lucky you because you can win the set of your choice!
To enter, take a look at Thoroughly Curly’s calling card gallery and choose your favorite. In the comments tell me which one rocks your world, why you need people to call you and your email address. You have until Tuesday, June 2 at noon CST to enter the contest.
Good luck and may the force be with you!

May 26, 2009 at 5:00 pmI like the “keep it chic” vintage pattern in lime and purple. I need these to promote my blog! I love to have something to hand to artists or shops I’m interested in featuring as I often stumble upon them in the most unexpected places (street fairs, craft fairs, etc).

May 26, 2009 at 6:08 pmMy favorite is the Its Juicy! Lime Pattern! I have been using Moo cards, which I love, but want something new. As a freelance web developer and photographer, cards are important to me, and I LOVE stationary!

May 26, 2009 at 6:14 pmI love the Check ya later design!!! It totally rocks my world! And, quite frankly, I don’t want people to call me…which is why I would use these to encourage blog visits and emails rather than phone calls! I can give you all the info you need to find me!

May 26, 2009 at 6:26 pmLove, love, love the “check you later” design. I really want it. I was thinking about Moo cards, but these are so much cooler and better! Pick me!

May 26, 2009 at 7:16 pmI like the “Check Ya Later” design because, frankly, I’m single and I need a good way to give out my contact information to men. That design allows me to give out as little or as much info as I want.

May 26, 2009 at 7:34 pmI love the “Keep It Chic” cards in teal and red. I’m starting law school this summer and these would be perfect to hand out at social events and interviews! It is never too early to start my contacts list, and what better way than with such a chic yet noticeable card!

May 26, 2009 at 7:41 pmI love the “Check Ya Later” design the best! It would be perfect to give everyone I meet: old friends, a future boss, creative people, really just great to have a card that’s not realted to my work!
Amanda
May 26, 2009 at 8:54 pmOh I loveee the peacock design! I’m starting grad school in the fall far from home and won’t know anybody. I think these would be a great conversation piece as I meet perspectative new friends!

May 26, 2009 at 9:27 pmI love the check ya later card. I am actually entering for my fiance. He just got a great new job and he could really use some business cards for his new contacts. The company he works for is a start up and they don’t have cards.

May 26, 2009 at 10:17 pmI agree with many of the others — I love the “Check Ya Later” design. I’m moving to San Diego this fall for graduate school and want to network for not only that but also for a non-profit organization I’d like to start which focuses on bringing the “big” science projects to younger generations of students, to get them excited and interested, no matter what career they decide to pursue. These would be perfect to help me network and get it going.

May 27, 2009 at 1:33 amCheck ya later rocks my world, but not as much as your divine blog. not kissing up. i mean it. i get annoyed when you don’t post for three days – like this weekend. ha!

May 27, 2009 at 4:09 pmI love the “Keep It Chic” design. All of them are seriously adorable! I love the idea of handing out a card versus pulling out your cell phone and punching the number in and then making sure it is correct. This way, you know the number is right and it looks much more chic. I am working on dating, and networking and definitely need some cute cards to mix it up ๐

May 27, 2009 at 4:23 pmI love “Check ya later” because sometimes I want to give my blog address and sometimes I want to give my email address but not my blog address and sometimes I want to give my phone number but none of the rest of it. We just moved to a new city so having something like these cards to give to new people we meet would be great!

May 28, 2009 at 1:01 amMy favorite are the keep it chic cards. Uh, no one really needs to call me, but they’re so pretty…I think I need em’ anyway.

May 28, 2009 at 5:32 amI love them all! So cute. I’m a sucker for houndstooth, though, which is synonymous with my alma mater (and would match my umbrella, keychain, handbag, etc.). I’ve worked at my job for almost 5 years and have yet to get cards. I’m always writing my info on scraps of paper. These would be great!

May 28, 2009 at 8:38 am‘check ya later’ is too cool for words – I’d love to pack those in my purse! Why do I need people to call me – conversation with adults is always craved (since I have 3 children under the age of 6)!

May 28, 2009 at 4:07 pmI absolutely need the “Keep it Chic” cards! The colors would be fab in my faves – a ballet inspired pallet – delicate pink, grays, creams, with black accents. Just divine! I love old fashioned calling cards, I could distribute them to all my friends so they have my new address!
Besos!

May 29, 2009 at 6:45 pmThe check ya later cards are fabulous. Simple enough to be interesting. I need these cars to promote my business. My current cards are so horribly drab and simply do not reflect my personality. These cards are perfect for me.

May 30, 2009 at 3:53 amthe Be Cocky are absolutely lovely! I’ll need them to let folks know they can reach me online or at least keep up with my latest adventure when I’m working in the interior of Yellowstone…away from cell phone coverage ๐

June 1, 2009 at 3:30 pmI just love the “Keep it Chic.” I’m getting married in a few months and it would be perfect to have a card with all my new contact information and last name! I also just graduated with my Masters and will be doing a lot of networking in the next few months and the card would definitely be perfect for that as well. email: michellealow[at]gmail[dot]com

June 1, 2009 at 3:32 pmI love “The Tweetest Thing” in bright pink! My blog is finally starting to become what I’ve been hoping for and these cards would be a wonderful way to leave a memorable impression on new people.
Plus, and I’m a little nervous about this, I’m hoping to open my own Etsy shop soon!

June 1, 2009 at 4:25 pmI love, love, love the “keep it chic” calling card. I’m a senior design student and I would love to have a card to hand out to potential employers and clients or people who could connect me to them. Right now I can’t afford to have my own cards printed. Winning this contest would be a great help for me to start networking.

June 1, 2009 at 4:35 pmThey are all adorable…it was hard to choose! But I think I’d go with the “It’s Juicy” cards. SO cute!

June 1, 2009 at 4:46 pmLooks like a lot of people love the “Keep it Chic” design, and so do I!
I work in politics, but I have always wanted to own and operate a bakery. After thinking about this for years and years, I’ve finally decided to start selling my goods on Etsy, just to see where it leads.
I’m so excited to finally be doing this! My first step is to make business cards and packaging so that I can really start to “brand” myself… who knows, maybe one day I could go from online to bricks-and-mortar?… so I would love to have a card that I can easily pass out to all my acquaintances and all those friends who have been encouraging me to do this forever.
Here’s to doing what you love, no matter how long it takes to get there! ๐

June 1, 2009 at 4:52 pmI have been looking for some calling cards that I liked as much as the “Keep it Chic” cards! I love them and feel that they represent my own design aesthetic. I lost my architecture job about 2 months ago and am trying to network like crazy to find another job doing anything in order to be able to keep my place. I am also trying to promote my oil paintings that I am currently working on and trying to sell. Since finances are super tight, this giveaway could be such a big help!

June 1, 2009 at 5:00 pmthe calling cards would be perfect since i am currently looking for work. i love the peacock calling cards.

June 1, 2009 at 5:11 pmBelieve it or not, I was business card shopping online last night, and wasn’t able to find anything that jumped out at me! But I love “Keep it Chic” so much, I think the hard part would simply be deciding on the colors! I need cards to hand out for networking; I’m a self-employed/freelance writer/photographer/designer, so what’s more important than a cute business card? ๐

June 2, 2009 at 2:11 amI like the Check Ya Later design because it is minimalist and nifty.
I often have people asking where I post pictures, so this would be a great card to write on and include other contact info.
