Win It: enjoy design.

Elise Blaha, of enJOY it, creates some of the most creative, awe-inspiring scrapbooks I’ve ever seen. The trick – as far as I can tell – is to use little bits and pieces of everything. Postcards, magazine clippings, cool papers… everything. And my word, this girl good at getting the perfect combination of it all put together just so.

This week the lovely and talented Elise is giving away a story to the stars handbound journal from her shop, enjoy design, to one lucky reader! The front of the book reads “she told her story to the stars” while the back follows up with “& the stars listened.”

To Enter:
1. Tell me who would play you if your story were turned into a movie?
2. Leave me your email address (those who do not will be disqualified)
3. Do it all before Monday, September 14th at 9am CST

First of all, thank you so much for this opportunity.

This is such a difficult choice. Sometimes you don't know if your are even well for your "part" in this life, so it is really hard to choose someone for the same part, when you are not shore of who you are, at times. At least thats what I felt when I choose mine.
After a long mental search, I choose Winona Ryder. First, she was lost and re-found her self and that is something I'm constantly doing, re-finding my self; second, she has so much life in her eyes and I feel she communicates through them and that is something I normally do.

    So…thats it. πŸ™‚

My name is Francisca and my e-mail is Franciscarusso@gmail.com.

Once again, thank you for this opportunity.

p.s.-sorry for my English. Its not my first Language.

Love the journal – so pretty. In the movie of my life story, the lead would have to be Rachel McAdams. She has a sort of mischievous sparkle that would suit the role.

hmm, that is tough. i am going to say renee zellweger (circa bridget jones and/or cold mountain). spunky, confident, prone to goofiness, somewhat self-reliant and somewhat clever.

I would want Gwyneth Paltrow to play me. Not because she looks like me (she's so beautiful) and not because she speaks like me (at all) but because I think she's a gorgeous, amazing actress. That way, even if "my story" isn't amazing, people might watch it. πŸ™‚

Well now that is tricky… I was once told that I was a cross between Winona Ryder and the wicked Witch ….
I was also once told I was a cross between phoebe from friends and the marque De Sade. so um well I think i'll take Winona

Winona or Kate Winslett in the titanic years. Shes too blond now

America Ferrera because she is a proud, curvaceous latina! She doesn't conform to the status quo of ideal beauty, and I've never been somebody who fits in to society's idea of normal. I think she would be able to portray me very well. πŸ™‚

I would love someone like Michael Muhney to play me in a movie. Aside from being a bit of a spunk, anyone who would attempt to challenge a random stranger at the traffic lights to Rock Paper Scissors, start a dance off to C&C Music Factory or arrive at the Emmy's on a bicycle (because it's green!) gets my vote. Not sure if he ended up being able to arrive on a bicycle.

If you haven't heard of him have a look at http://www.twitter.com/michaelmuhney – seems like one of the most genuinely nice celebrities out there.

Hmm…I would say a combination of Zooey Deschanel, Amy Adams, and RenΓ©e Zellweger: a combination of quirkiness, levity and insecurity. They're all too pretty for me, though. πŸ™ But they are a few of my favorite favorite favorite actresses.

Hmmmm. I am sooo tragically out of touch with Hollywood these days… who is someone who would seem a teensy bit aloof at first but totally great once you know them, has a great smile that totally defines her face so much that it's slightly off-putting to some at first but gorgeous to others, and is a great friend? That's who would play me. πŸ™‚

    And my e-mail is createbeautydaily(at)gmail.com.

Hmm. This is a difficult choice! I agree with Francisca – sometimes I can't decide if I'm right for my own life. Can I handle it? Do I have the right strengths/weaknesses/characteristics to pull off everything my life asks of me?

But if I were to choose an actress to play me, it would have to be Isla Fisher. In 'Definitely Maybe' + even in interviews, she shows a sarcastic, down to earth, surface-deep cynic which I can definitely relate to. And plus, who wouldn't want to be played by a pretty girl like Isla haha!
