January 11, 2010 at 4:26 pmOh geesh, well, on any given day I usually forgot the main ingredient of whatever I'm planning to cook that night. Take yesterday – I was making enchiladas and forgot to get tortillas!
Would love this journal btw. Perfect for jotting down last minute wedding notes!
Cheers,
Erin

January 11, 2010 at 7:27 pmI always forget the milk. Isn't that ridiculous? That's what I go into the store for in the first place, and I always forget it.

January 11, 2010 at 7:43 pmCoconut milk. I always want to make chicken curry, but without coconut milk it's chicken with curry, not chicken curry. I've forgotten for the last 3 months, and my chicken curry deficit is growing rapidly.

January 11, 2010 at 8:00 pmI can't seem to remember to buy garlic which seems to be staple in my house. I've taken to write a note on my hand.

January 11, 2010 at 8:16 pmI always forget if I need more Kashi cereal. I only buy it on sale but I always forget that I have a few boxes of Heart to Heart stashed in my hall closet/"pantry".

January 11, 2010 at 8:21 pmSoy sauce. I wouldn't have thought so before, but I ran out three weeks ago, and haven't remembered in any of my grocery trips since! Been faking fried rice with kecap manis instead. Weird.

January 11, 2010 at 8:34 pmUsually it's some main ingredient to something (oh like yesterday I forgot to get chicken for the chicken recipe I was going to make – duh). Mostly it's just cheese or yogurt, something like that. But I always forget something!

January 11, 2010 at 9:52 pmBaked tofu, even though I was joking with my bf about how awesome it is that we both love baked tofu during the drive there.
I also, ironically, forgot my brand-new list pad AT the check-out counter. I hope someone else out there is enjoying using it now.

Anything in the aisles. I stumble around the perimeter of the store in a mindless circle and then leave the store. Very silly.

January 12, 2010 at 4:06 pmI don't typically forget things at the grocery store b/c I am a mad list maker. Which is why this journal would be perfect for me. I do, however, forget to buy one thing on purpose and that is cat litter. I hate lugging it around.

Hmm…still being at home, Mum does the shopping, but it's generally the basic things like oil, or flour, or sugar. We have all of the specific things for a recipe, and none of the basic ingredients all of the time haha.

January 16, 2010 at 4:12 amI always forget to pick up milk because the gallon is heavy I get it last since I don't want it in my basket while I'm walking around hunting for the rest of my items. I don't use a cart because it tends to make me meander more and then I end up picking up things I spot along the way that I didn't intend to get originally.
