One of the personality traits I’m lacking is patience, which instantly fascinated me with Karen O’Leary’s hand cut maps. The precision, the detail, the time commitment. Wow, wow, wow.     Seattle! Striking. Yes, the patience! I’m cartography-obsessed myself, but my map cutout art doesn’t require as much of this key ingredient. I truly admire the patient artist behind these, but also her precise cuts and original design.
