iWood Sunglasses.

I came across these iWood ecodesign wooden sunglasses last week and am a little fascinated by the idea. Each pair is designed using the highest quality, sustainable, wood veneer and the highest standards with nine varied styles to choose from. A bold environmental statement, wouldn’t you agree?

Monday Goodness: Good Cheap Fast.

Anyone in business knows this rubric. The problem that designers have is that we always want to produce good work while clients always want it cheap and fast – perhaps this is why designers are so poor. Occasionally we succeed at making everybody happy but when clients expect all three every time – well, then we don’t expect to be working with that client for very long.

Hand-Stamped Ring.

This hand-stamped ring is 100% diggable. It’s handcrafted, stamped and personalized with whatvever word, date, name, or whatever you decide upon. Anywhere between 20-25 characters will fit depending on the ring size. Me likey. Me likey a lot.

Uncooked Cards.

The snarky writing, typewriter font and minimal illustrations make these cards by Uncooked are the perfect recipe. (Yes, I’m feeling punny today.) My favorite is the first one about French kissing.

Pantone Autumn.

I’m fairly obsessed with Pantone Autumn by Chris Glass that was created after collecting leaf samples from a single tree. I wish he would do a print because it’s gorgeous. The perfect designer’s wreath.

Window Adhesive.

After using this window adhesive it will totally look like you have an etched glass window. I love the privacy it offers for apartments. The adhesive is available in seven patterns on 37 x 52″ rolls, just add water and adhere. When the time comes it’s supposedly very easy to remove. It might also be a quick fix-up for glass-fronted cabinets. Love it.

Laura Zeck.

short stories are original etchings by artist Laura Zeck. Zeck has created a sort of visual vocabulary made up of almost 300 etchings that you can choose from to create an art print, greeting card or book. Each picture can tell a piece of your story or be the story in and of itself. Personalization in it’s easiest form.

Truth Hurts.

The plain type on these simple white cards definitely drive the point home on these Truth Hurts cards. Choose from I know in my heart that you lied., There’s something you should know. and I meant what I said. Although I can think of a few situations where the last two cards could be used in really sweet situations. Each card set comes with two flat cards bearing each sentiment plus envelopes.
