Glass Straws.
I love the idea of these glass drinking straws. But I sort of can’t help but think that glass pipettes – you know, the kind you used in chemistry class – would work just as well for a fraction of the price.

July 11, 2008 at 9:33 pmIt’s clear that I watch far too much television when I see a glass straw and think of smoking crack. Gotta stop watching The Sopranos. 🙂

August 14, 2008 at 4:37 pmI’m just guessing those of you who think this is a great idea didn’t actually spend much time in the lab. DON’T USE PIPETTES AS DRINKING STAWS! They are cheep because they are brittle, and when they break they shatter- not something you want in your mouth. You can get think glass straws for about 5$ a piece online.
