A-Z Animal Flashcards.

A set of these A-Z Animal Flashcards framed and hung on a child’s bedroom wall? So cool.

From Anteaters to Zebras, each letter of the alphabet is paired with a detail of the animal along with the upper and lowercase letters. The backs of the cards show a silhouette of the full animal and an interesting fact about its unique feature. For example, did you know, rabbits can see behind them without even turning their heads? Illustrations are by Mark Fisher.

Those are awesome. I had some calendar pages framed, the pages were alphabet and animals with my daughters unusual initials ZRG, folks are always commenting on them. Hope she never grows up so I never have to take them down.
Did you know animals with large ears use their large ears to cool themselves. Jackrabbits for instance or elephants. The blood flows through their large ears and it cools down. Sea lions and seals do a similar thing, only opposite, they hold up their flippers to absorb the warmth of the sun. I love animals and learning about them.
