The Daily Eat: Goat Cheese Pear Tarts.

Goat cheese is one of those foods that I didn’t like until I reached adulthood. In fact, I was sort of horrified by it until eating some accidentally in a salad. You see, as much as I love cooking and baking and all that jazz, I freak out easily over anything unfamiliar. Yup, I’m that girl. I’m glad goat cheese and I met up though because it’s been a beautiful friendship ever since – hope you enjoy Goat Cheese Week!

Goat Cheese Pear Tarts are a gem of a recipe that is incredibly easy to make and is sure to impress every time. Fruit always seems to bring out the earthiness of the goat cheese – always a good pair.

I used to be freaked out by the texture of goat cheese — until I realized the GOOD stuff isn’t overly chalky. Now, I’m picky about the quality of my goat cheese, but I love the stuff overall!
