The Daily Eat: Spiced Strawberry Soup.
With a blush I have to admit that I’m a fruit soup virgin! It’s not that I’m some sort of soup purist, I’ve just never had to opportunity to try it before. A dessert soup – like this Spiced Strawberry Soup with mint cream and choco-nut crisps – is something I could totally endorse!

June 4, 2009 at 6:04 pmI fell in love with fruit soup when I was in Hungary many years ago. It was made with blueberries. They served it as an appetizer and I nearly licked the bowl clean it was so good. I haven't had it since, but every once in a while I wonder where I would find such a thing in this country.
