    cookies and cream is my fav! I keep looking for recipes that don't require an ice cream maker. I feel like there must be a way to make with out the machine.

    I've had my ice cream maker for over a decade. I love it! I use it to make ice cream in summer, but I also use it to make sherbet, sorbet and granitas throughout the year.

    In my case, it's because I'd then have WAY to much accessibility to ice cream. It's more physical activity to have to get in the car and drive over to Friendly's to get my ice cream. I burn off, like, 20 calories with that action alone. 😉
