The Daily Eat: Buttermilk Pie with Warm Blackberry Sauce.
Buttermilk pie is a bit of a southern institution that I’d never heard of until a few months ago. Now I’m chomping at the bit to try out this recipe for Buttermilk Pie with Warm Blackberry Sauce! And after reading the back story to this version in particular I want to try it even more…

September 15, 2009 at 5:27 pmLooks delicious! This pie looks much different than my sister-in-law's buttermilk pie. Her pie bakes up as a smooth golden custard pie. Definitely, the blackberry sauce would be a wonderful addition. Let us know how it tastes. : )
