Mini Pedestals.
I love a good cake plate, which is what I see these mini pedestals as in my mind. Or maybe it would hold my perfume bottles. Or spice bottles. Each vintage base is unique and handcrafted out of a vintage powder coated brass candlestick holder base and detachable oval corian top. Because the base and top detach, the possibilities really are endless! {via Two Brunettes}

October 10, 2009 at 4:04 pmI've been thinking about using a cake stand to hold jewelry. I don't make a lot of cakes and hate the idea of letting a beautiful cake stand sit unnoticed in a cupboard somewhere. But a cake stand holding jewelry on my dresser year-round? That sounds fabulous!
