Picture It: Umbrellas.
Today the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds for the first time since last Friday. It’s been dreary and drizzly and perfectly overcast. I’m normally a champion for this exact weather, but feeling sick and contending with the lack of sunshine was really taking its toll on me! So I thought I’d pay my respects to today’s transition with some lovely umbrella photos.

October 15, 2009 at 9:11 pmi think it's a very big deal to have an umbrella, raincoat and rainboots that make you smile. Always makes me want to hit the streets, and people seriously react so much different to someone who is perky on a rainy day.

October 16, 2009 at 2:15 pmI've been looking for a 36" black watch plaid umbrella with an ebony handle for years. Someone has to have that, yeah? I saw the rainbow umbrella in the first picture after work yesterday. Seeing it here first made me smile when I saw one in person.
