I've been a little bad this semester because my school schedule has been crazy but I try and work out 2-3 days a week. I'll do stretching, crunches and one of my yoga videos. Sometimes I'll change it up with push-ups and my resistance bands.

Pre-pregnancy it was weights, pilates, swimming, biking, maybe running. But now I'm reduced to walking on a treadmill, biking on a stationary bike and swimming a little. If I have the energy to do anything.

My workout routine is gym 2 or 3 times a week, yoga once a week at the university, because as a student I can't afford to pay for classes at a yoga studio and this class is not only free but the instructor is awesome! Oh, and swimming once in a blue moon, but we all know how rare that is, so…

I sadly stopped working out for a while, I used to be a yoga and pilates fanatic. But for far too long, I just did fork curls. However that has changes, I am on day fourteen of the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Sometimes a deep breath is enough to say ow right now, but I love it!

Nothing right now (5 months pregnant=lots of uncomfortable jiggling while running) but normally I'm a four times a week runner plus two days a week of cross training (usually on the bike). I can't wait to get back to it!

For the last half of the this year, I've been running 2-3 days a week and I do ballet conditioning once or twice, as well as pushups almost every morning.

Last week, since we're in winter (and snow!), I'm back on my Taebo home DVD program 3-4 days a week. Help me. lol

wake up. think about running. think some more. roll out of bed into haphazard running wears. really think about how early it is. walk outside. walk some more. walk turns into a jaunt turns into run and then i remember why i run. run for 40 minutes. easy. glowing. stretch. on a high all day until morning comes again. repeat 3xs per week.

I realized pretty early on that besides the elliptical (which I can only do for extended amounts of time if I have my ipod) I really can't do a "normal" workout routine. Instead my husband and I go hiking and kayaking a lot. Wonderful workout without the feeling of being stuck in a gym.

With that said though, it's getting cold so I have to hit up the gym more often than I'd like. Think cute new clothes could make me excited about that though!

Right now my normal routine is to go to Yoga class on Monday night (yay for stress relief!). I round out my week with 3-4 more workouts. I typically run on the treadmill for about 30 minutes, then I hit the free weights. If I'm feeling particularly lazy, I'll skip the gym and workout to Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.

My workout routine suffered when I moved and left my master's swim team behind. I recently joined a water polo team that practices twice a week for two hours at a time. Because of these intense workouts I've had to hit the treadmill or the road for at least 5k twice a week to increase my endruance.

Back when I used to work out, it was every other day cardio, every other days weights – not the sissy stuff either. I used to do serious weight lifting (in the guy's weight lifting area even). Now, my exercise routine consists of cleaning up after my two kids and occasionally squeezing in a hike or two. At least until the new year, when I vow to hit the gym.

Love this line of active wear – I'm thinking it could be a contender on project runway.
