Rothko Cookies

Confession. I had a print of a Mark Rothko print on my bedroom wall while in college. I was taking so many design and art history classes, and he just seemed very much like the intersection of the two. With that less than tawdry secret out there, I’m loving these Rothko-inspired cookies that Mimi O Chun masterminded. (via CMYBacon)

    Okay, maybe it’s because all I ever do is design (at work and so forth) BUT THESE ARE THE COOLEST COOKIES EVER! I really just want to hang them on MY wall (b/c let’s face it, turning an awesome painting into AN EDIBLE awesome painting just makes it so much better!).

    Oh, I am a huge Rothko fan. I was like ‘meh’ in school and then I saw them in person and the size and presence of them were just outstanding!
