The Daily Eat: Fig Plum Sheet Cake.

I’m guilty of having never tried a fig. Not even once. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to, it’s just the occasion hasn’t ever presented itself. At least not yet. But not even that trivial fact has prevented me from compiling a weeks worth (and then some) of tasty recipes for Fig Week!

First up is this to die for Fig Plum Sheet Cake loaded down with fruits, pistachios and honey. My, oh my.

Try a ripe fix with gorgonzola, drizzled with honey. So delicious.

I never have had the pleasure either…perhaps we'll be sitting side by side somewhere in time and someone will offer us each a fig in some shape or another and we can indulge. See you then!

The Wedge has a great pizza that has fresh figs on it – it's fantastic. They add a great semi-sweetness to the pizza. Well worth the $$.
