laptopwallet butterfingers.

I’m not especially thrilled with the laptop sleeve I have, but I didn’t have to shell out any cash for it (work took care of that) and it gets the job done. The laptopwallet butterfingers by Working Class Heroes might be something that I could get used to though. Constructed out of 3mm grey felt and Austrian leather, the laptopwallet is designed to give you easy access to your macbook while snuggly holding it in place with the utmost protection. In case you hadn’t noticed, the wrist-strap also makes it really east to carry (butterfingers). And it looks pretty hot, too.

Out of Office.

Out of Office is a just-launched collective of British product designers who turn concepts, stories and ideas into tangible objects. A lot of the products are still in a conceptual phase, but I can’t wait until they’re available. Especially the Pencil Block since pencils are one of my favorite weapons of the trade.

Boygirlparty.

Susie Ghahremani is the incredibly talented illustrator behind Boygirlparty who recently expanded her web presence with the Shop at Boygirlparty.com. Not only am I impressed with her continually growing abilities, but also with her papergoods. How much fun are her recipe cards?! Lovely job, Susie.

GapBody Bath + Skin.

I popped into the Gap Sunday to pick up the Luxe Poncho that I was gushing over last week and was pleasantly surprised to see GapBody’s Bath + Skin products all beautifully lined up on the shelves. Speaking as the Product Whore that I am, the packaging is lovely and definitely made me want to pick one of the eight scents for my very own. I held out with much restraint, but think I’ve found something else for my Christmas list.

Disney Dream Portrait Series.

I think Annie Leibovitz is one of – if not the – most talented photographers of the past century. Her work seems to capture moments of emotion like no other. This year Disney Parks are celebrating the Year of a Million Dreams and chose Annie to photograph the Disney Dream Portrait Series depicting famous actors, actresses and athletes as popular Disney characters. Once again Leibovitz has impressed me with the mood and emotion she is capable of creating in any given photograph. Love these and I’m hoping a series will be released at some point for purchase!

Stina Wirsén.

I love the juxtaposition of the harshness of the black lines and the softness of the lush watercolors Stina Wirsén uses in her work. It’s unbelievable the way she mixes realistic, anatomically correct portions of her figures with the unambiguous shapes and color swaths of their garments. Lovely.

Holiday Cards at Night Owl Paper Goods.

I have two obsessions when it comes to the holidays: colored glass ornaments and finding the perfect Christmas cards to send out. Make that three if you count trying not to kill anyone – family or not – while traveling during this most festive time of year.

Night Owl Paper Goods are close to checking one of those items off of my list. I’m loving their holiday cards and am thrilled that they released a series of wooden cards outside of their everyday collection.
