Posted In paper goods, printsI’m thinking I need a wall of ampersand art in my office. And that this limited edition Letterpress Ampersand Study from Bespoke Press would be the perfect first addition. {via Oh So Beautiful Paper}
Posted In paper goods, printsGolly Bard has long been one of my favorite Etsy illustrators, so I was thrilled when Holly added these gorgeous log illustrations to her shop. I have a thing for cross-sections of, well, anything so they really struck my fancy. All are original works of art, not prints.
Posted In paper goods, printsThis limited edition Office Letterpress print was created specifically for EightHourDay’s fifth anniversary. I’m a huge fan of both the company’s work and their philosophy. Oh, and an office supply junkie. And a fan of yellow. Looks like it’s just meant to be!
Posted In office, paper goods, printsCircles are my favorite shape, which is something I only recently realized. Weird, I know. So this Things That Are Round poster and set of coasters from 1canoe2 are totally speaking to me and my new found favoriteness. Dandelions, a rotary phone dial and doughnut among other round things are all hand-drawn. The 10×15″ poster is a limited edition of 38, while the set of 9 coasters come in a drawstring bag.

Posted In paper goods, printsNot that a minor means much in college these days, but I happen to have one in art history. There was a time when I considered going after it full steam ahead, but let’s face it – there aren’t a lot of art museum curating jobs out there and that’s what I would have been gunning after.
For now I’d be content with this Art History print by Vuk Vidor. On each line Vidor links an artist to their cultural impact in three words, over thirty in all. My favorite? {via design milk}
Posted In printsGrowing up my aunt and uncle had a large 4×3′ map hanging on the wall where they would mark spots they’d visited with push pins and I’ve always loved the idea. So for the past few years I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect map on which to chart my own journeys.
And I think I’ve just found it. The Places on Earth screen print. The entire map of the world is hand drawn by artist Oliver Jeffers and comes signed with 202 pins in a tin, 4 bulldog clips and nails for hanging. 200 pins are black, one is red and one is blue. Red is for marking your headquarters and blue is for your next target. Love. {via unruly things}

I own JHill’s Pittsburgh print from her Places I Have Never Been series and now I’m thinking I need to pick up A Toast to Pennsylvania to make it a pair.
It felt great to get back to regular blogging this week after almost a month of haphazard posts. Thanks for waiting out the flu and two Christmases with me!
You may have noticed one sizable change here over the past week: The Daily Eat is no longer with us. After a year and half I’ve decided it was time to take things in a fresher direction. One that is decidedly more true to Design Crush. So stay tuned to see where it goes, I promise to try not to disappoint!
