It was lovely and crisp here in OKC this weekend, which always puts me in the best mood. I wore my first pair of socks since April, and now these cozy slippers and slipper socks from Wooly Baby are screaming my name! They’re eco-friendly (made from 85% recycled materials), have a suede bottom, and a wool-lined sole. They come in high and low ankle heights and are available for babies, kids, women, and men. Do I hear some holiday gifts being crossed off??

I’ve been spying so many incredible house portraits recently. Who wouldn’t love to have their home, their safe spot, interpreted on canvas or paper? I know I would. Stephanie K Clark puts her own spin on what’s becoming a trend with her embroidered “thread paintings.” Make sure and check out the up close and personal details for something truly amazing. (Psst… she’s available for commissions!) (via Anthology)

Willow Knows a lot about fabric and aesthetic, particularly the tension between stillness and fluidity. Jessica Lee’s 100% hand dyed clothing and accessories are beautiful in design, concept, and balance. You can purchase your own little piece of Willow Knows at Need Supply.

You may know Martha McQuade from her Scarfshop goods, but if you’re not familiar with her gorgeous textiles you most definitely need to be. Martha recently released her first line of clothing that looks ideal for summer wear, perfectly light and airy for steamy summer temps and beyond.

As I was hurrying down the concourse to my gate at LAX last Wednesday, I scurried past a series of Shizu Saldamando‘s framed art. At first glance it looked to be pen on an old bed sheet and much to my delight it was just that! I snapped a few photos (quickly) including one of the artist’s name and looked her up as soon as I got home. 18 With a Bullet isn’t the exact installation I spied, but the same style and feel. So lovely.

I’m a big fan of artist Emily Barletta‘s work. I mean, anyone who has the level of patience it takes and the talent to conceive of such intricate art sewn on paper deserves lots of love and admiration. The close-ups tell the whole story.
