Can Vase

Multi-functional is where it’s at! I’m loving this brass Can Vase that features three changeable caps. Each one can help you achieve the best arrangement for the type of flowers you’re working with thanks to its cleverly shaped openings.

Yes, I like shopping. When do I like shopping most? When it’s socially conscious and gives back, of course. Given Goods Co. has created a model where with every purchase shoppers become participants in the story of each product. It’s an environment where customers can learn about the origins and impact of each item (which happen to be sustainable) and keep track of their global impact. Discover, learn, give back. It’s that simple. Shop their full storefront of housewares, accessories, and more – new items are being added every day!

Wooden. Rugs. Rolls those two words around in your mind hole for a minute or two. German artist Elisa Strozyk has created three variations of these delightful coverings. Strozyk dyes and connects row upon row of triangular pieces as she pulls together the end result of a colored wooden rug, which is so flexible that you can literally crumple it up and toss it into a corner. Oh, hey there – I’m sorry, but I just can’t stop staring at these images of Marbelous Wood. It’s crazy good, right?? Pernille Snedker uses a repurposed marbling technique from old book covers to give wood this incredible look. Produced one drop of color at a time, ring by ring, the pattern is constructed on the water surface. The final result being a reflection of the annual rings of wood and a product that can be used on both walls and floors. (via Mint)

In my opinion enamelware doesn’t get enough love. Yes it can chip, and no you can’t put it in the microwave but come on. The colors are always showstoppers and the weighty feel of a piece in your hand can’t be topped. I’m crushing on this dinnerware from Variopinte and the stark white cutlery to match. STACT

STACT-1-Design Crush

I’ve seen a lo-ot of modular wine storage systems, they’re popular and we all know it. What I haven’t seen is a minimalist modular wine system that’s been done as well as STACT. The panels come in seven different colors, so you can mix and match and add to the system as your collection grows. The end result can end up looking like an incredible art installation in its own right, all while freeing up precious counter space.
