The Heads of State City Posters.

These graphic-heavy posters of awesome (AKA City Posters) from The Heads of State (AKA Jason Kernevich and Dustin Summers) have been popping up around the web for the past week or so, but there’s no way I could pass up sharing them. As it stands Miami, NYC, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix and D.C. are covered. Wondering how long it will take them to make one for Oklahoma City? Never gonna happen.

Numbers Poster.

Let me make one thing clear, I think the illustration work of Sandra Juto is phenomenal. And I think this poster she collaborated on with graphic designer Mija Carlsson and typographer Malena Forsare is uber-phenomenal. It must be mine.

Modern Genealogy.

At one point or another I’m willing to bet you had to put together a family tree. I was in the 3rd grade.. And I can still remember sitting on the hallway floor outside of the bathroom while my mother got ready for work and grilling her about her huge side of the family. I don’t remember much else, but I guarantee that the end result looked nothing like these stunning modern genealogy charts over at My Tree and Me.
