It’s Pop It’s Art.

It’s Pop It’s Art is built upon a passionate love of both music and art. In pop music, lyrics are the link between the enigmatic emotion of music and the ordered intellect of the listener. Our aim is to reform this connection through uniquely visual cover versions of some of pop music’s most important songs.

Looove these posters! Thanks to coco+kelley for scoping them out first.

Five-a-Day Poster Series.

The Five-a-Day poster series by UK-based Man vs Machine is so graphically intelligent. I love the way they took the idea of getting your five fruits and veggies a day and morphed it into a series of deconstructed works of art. So much so that if you weren’t aware of the basis of project, you may not even be aware of what you were looking at.

Don James Poster.

This Don James poster was one of those things I saw and just can’t get out of my mind. I love the use of type and white space. I love the photo. I love that the only color on the entire page is the orange 1503. I can already tell that it’s going to have to be mine at some point.

ORK Posters.

I’ve seen these little ORK Poster beauties floating around lately and I heart them 100%. I’ve seen this idea done before but not nearly as successfully (in my humble opinion). Love the bold graphic look and use of type, not to mention the minimal color.
