I’m a fan of pinkshirtsandcarwrecks the blog, so when I found out they were opening a handmade shop online I was stoked knowing that it was going to be full of all kinds of awesome. And I wasn’t disappointed. Having lived in Minneapolis for a few years, I need to get my hands on one of their felt MPLS flags stat.
So here’s the thing, we’re ten days into the new year. Do you have your shiny new calendar on display? Was that a no? Oh, okay. Well, here are three beauties that I can’t even believe are free for you to download and print. No excuses left now.
Like I mentioned yesterday morning, I’ll be heading to PA for the second time in less than a month tomorrow. This time it’s to celebrate Orthodox Christmas with my mom’s side of the family. And did I mention just how early my flight is? Before the sun comes up early. Before human beings are supposed to be awake early. So early that I will literally be in physical pain for the rest of the day. Early. But I adore this side of my family and am looking forward to drinking copious amounts of alcohol, sharing family stories and gossip, and being with people who make me feel loved.
Happy first Monday of 2011! I hope your year is off to a rousing start. This week is going to be a bit front heavy I’m afraid, Wednesday I’ll be heading back (once again) to Pennsylvania for Orthodox Christmas. That means things should officially be back to normal around here beginning next Monday. I can’t wait.
