Starting this afternnon, I’ll be showcasing different gift ideas here and there through the holidays under the tag gifted. Who knows, you just may see something that’s a perfect fit for someone on your Christmas shopping list. Or maybe even something to indulge in for yourself!
Deceitful meringue rings that are crafted out of industrial grade silicone as opposed to egg whites and sugar. A perfect fit for the baker in your life. Don’t you just want to take a bite? {via poppytalk}
Posted In gifts, jewelry, wear itToday is a success, if for no other reason than I finally learned the steps to making a perfectly messy bun similar to this one. {via A Cup of Jo}

The photographer behind this photo is only sixteen (which I can say being THIRTY and all…) and her work is breathtaking. At sixteen I was way too concerned with boys to have a passion about anything else. Check out her flickr photostream for photo after beautiful photo.

Posted In cards, paper goods, win itCongratulations to Leesh who won an incredible original painting by the lovely Lisa Romero! Thank you, Lisa, for giving away such a great piece!
And to answer the question, my favorite shoes (for the past few years at least) are a pair of worn-in camouflage Converse All-Stars. I wear them way too often, with more outfits than could ever be deemed acceptable. I heart them!
Posted In win itSomehow having a great weekend makes today and the upcoming week a little easier to bear. Like I squeezed every last drop of potential out of it and am ready to move on. Or something.
