11 Apps Worth Your While

So many apps, so little time! I have to admit, I generally rely on the advice of others who’ve bought before to lead me in the right direction. For some reason I’m drawn to weather apps more than any other – I love clicking into each one to see if they’re predicting the same thing outdoors. I also really love travel apps that can keep me on schedule. What are your favorites?

1-2-3 Blogs I Love

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared some of my blog favorites, because I don’t spend that much time trolling the blogosphere. You might find it a little odd that most of my favorite sites aren’t other curatorial or art and design blogs, they’re usually food and lifestyle based.

First up is Wit & Vinegar. Billy creates recipes that make me want to lick my laptop’s screen and spews funny like few others. You should definitely follow if you like food, sass, and dogs.

Henry Happened is full of thoughtful posts and resources that I wish I had the time or foresight to figure out on my own. Thankfully this site takes care of it all for me. Follow if you’re looking for DIY, style, home, and food.

In the words of creator Sarah, “The Sugar Hit is a cooking, eating & living blog. It’s a resource for the young, the broke, the hungry, and anyone wanting to live a champagne lifestyle on a beer budget.” Follow along if you’re into all of the above. I am.

Spring Fever Wishlist

1. A pair of mid-length deconstructed denim shorts that can be worn with tights on cool days.

2. A set of simple circle studs that can be worn with anything.

3. A knit sweater with a sweet 60s neckline to layer or wear alone in lieu of a jacket.

4. A pair of black peep toe flats for those extra warm days that warrant a little skin shown.

5. The perfect sized boho bag to stash the essentials, along with whatever else.

6. A double-wrap cuff in a whispery pink as a hello to spring colors.

7. A pair of booties with extra character to pair with skirts and dresses.

8. A slouchy pair of tapered drawstring pants, because comfort is key.
