Pssst… this week you can find me over on Feather Report. I created a few outfits that I’d love to be able to afford and wear, so hurry on over sometime and take a gander. (And if you just happen to fall in love with Melisa’s brilliant idea while you’re visiting, there’s an app for that!)
I’ve just decided that all of these eye-catching frocks by Emily Ryan look like something a terribly stylish 30-year-old would be wearing this fall and winter. And that I should probably just go right ahead and buy one of each. {via Design Milk}
The work of Linda Yesline of Aster + Sage pairs quality recycled materials with simple, clean lines to create these great fabric bags. I’m a big fan of her work, so I’m pumped to announce that this week’s giveaway is sponsored by Aster + Sage! Linda is giving away not one, but two bags to one lucky reader – one to keep and one to share with someone special.
To Enter, Tell Me:
1. Who would you give the second bag to?
2. Your email address to be notified should you win (those who do not will be disqualified)
3. And do it all before Monday, November 2 at 9am CST. This giveaway is only for those who live in the continental US.
Hello, weekend! I’m so, so very happy to see you again. And really looking forward to the Greek festival, the OU game, Ghouls Gone Wild and boot shopping! (If you could somehow make my clean underwear supply last until Monday so that I don’t have to do laundry just yet, that would rock.)
NOTES:
• You have until Monday at 9am CST to enter and win one of Marta’s oh-so-cute mini diaries!
• The time left to enter the 2010 Calendar Swap is starting to wind down, but there’s still a few days left. If you need some inspiration check out my calendar roundups 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!
The Lillian Asterfield Collection by Nicole Deponte is made entirely from upcycled materials. And I have no doubt the pieces look better in their reincarnation than their previous life. Her necktie ascots are awesome paired with a simple white tee. {via Scoutie Girl}
Lately I’ve been thinking I need an upgrade from the Timbuk2 bag that I use to haul things back and forth from work. It’s a great bag, proof being that I’ve been using and abusing it since grad school and it’s none the worse for the wear. But it’s sooo not classy. While The Director bag from Malcolm Fontier sooo is. {via Design Milk}
I’ve been putting up a valiant effort in fighting off a cold that’s threatening to take away my weekend, but it seems to be gaining an edge. The achiness has moved in and my willingness to venture out of the house and moved on. If by chance you’re feeling under the weather as well, content yourself from your couch with these lovely links from the past week… Happy Weekend!
mum & lark is a mother-daughter team who create the most exquisite scarflettes and cowls (among other things). I’d love to get my hot little hands on one! I’ve got to run. I’m busy imagining taking a walk down a leaf-strewn neighborhood street wearing the light grey one…
So glad to see two classics – Timex and J.Crew – teamed up this fall. One of these watches is definitely on my fall wish list. The question is, which one? Maybe I don’t have to choose… the bands can switch out! {via A Little Sussy}
