molly m designs.

I’m in mad love with the laser cut jewelry of molly m designs. Good back story: she’s trained as an architect and after using laser cutting to make architectural models realized it’s potential for jewelry as well. All of Molly’s designs start with a sketch, then are drafted in AutoCAD before being printed on the laser cutter. When possible all of her jewelry is made from sustainable materials. Maybe a little Happy Earth Week is in order for yourself, no? I’m especially partial to her earrings…

Loyal Locals T-Shirts.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m fiercely loyal to my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA as well as all their sports teams. And with the Penguins in the NHL playoffs at the moment I think I probably definitely need this Loyal Locals tee from Formula Works. I love the simple type treatment and colors!

Go or Send Jewelry.

When I was about 10 my great aunt gave me a spoon ring for Christmas and I thought it was just about the coolest thing ever. They’re not all that uncommon, but what about fork bracelets?

Carl, a second generation silver jewelry maker is the craftsman behind Go or Send Jewelry. His shop is full of pendants, bracelets and rings that any spoon or fork would be proud to be bent into.

Becky Kelso.

If I had to pick only one style of jewelry that expressed my likes and who I am it would be Becky Kelso’s. I love wearing big stones, but in a way that’s not gaudy. Things that are polished, but not too polished are my preference in every aspect of life. And beautiful colors that don’t shout at you are completely me. Here are just a few of my favorites from her line, definitely check out her site for more!

French Love and L’Alcool

Loving this tee that I saw on Perfectbound earlier today from Cubist Literature.

The French: Moi, je veux te dire que je ne te quitterai jamais. Et puis, si tu es triste, je pourrais toujours te donner un peu d’alcool pour te rechauffer le couer. xo Basically this means that “I’ll be there for you always. And I’ll get you drunk when you’re sad.”

How can you not love that??

Jacqleen Bleu.

Jacqleen Bleu’s french inspired jewelry is the equivalent of childhood for adults. She uses fun pieces like miniature rings, elephants and furniture to evoke a sense of whimsy and nostalgia. Everything in her shop is affordable and unique – a great combination – and more pieces are being added daily to the already sizable collection. Stop by and see for yourself!

Custom Silhouette Necklaces.

This is totally 100% geek, but I want one of these custom silhouette necklaces in the shape of my cat Peanut’s head with his name on it! Meg Moorhouse creates these traditional silhouette necklaces with modern technology. Send your digital image and receive your charm in the shape of any silhouette you choose. Comes in sterling silver, gold vermeil, or solid gold with a 16″ matching chain. Imagine the possibilities!

Oui Ring.

I’m seriously coveting this white gold Oui ring from Dior. A little more sparkly than I usually roll, but so much fun.
