Win It: Sara Norris Photography.


I own more cameras than anyone has a right to. From a point and shoot 35mm to a Polaroid and everywhere in between. Cameras are something I’ve been fascinated with all my life – I got my first Fisher Price one when I was 5. And as much as I love, love, love all of them, I don’t use them as much as I should. It’s always Oh, I wish I had a camera right now or I don’t want to stuff yet another thing in my purse.

That’s why I envy people like Sara Norris. True photographers who catch every day life through the lens of their camera. Who never fail to capture a moment or the mundane in a different light. Win It: enjoy design.


Elise Blaha, of enJOY it, creates some of the most creative, awe-inspiring scrapbooks I’ve ever seen. The trick – as far as I can tell – is to use little bits and pieces of everything. Postcards, magazine clippings, cool papers… everything. And my word, this girl good at getting the perfect combination of it all put together just so.

This week the lovely and talented Elise is giving away a story to the stars handbound journal from her shop, enjoy design, to one lucky reader! The front of the book reads “she told her story to the stars” while the back follows up with “& the stars listened.”

Linnzi and Asher

I met Linnzi during the first part of my sophomore year of college. She was the girlfriend of the roommate of the guy I liked. We were both looking for a new roommate and after spending some time hanging out at the guys’ house and their (awful) band practices we decided to move in together. We instantly became best friends and I realized I had found a true kindred spirit in her. Since those days of roommate-y bliss we’ve had our ups and downs for sure, but always bounce back. Now she lives in North Carolina with her amazing husband (the same guy!) and adorable, smart-as-a-whip son. And I just found out last month that she’s expecting again! Although we don’t get to talk nearly as much as I’m sure either of us would like, when we do things just snap right back into place. And to me, well, that’s just what a best friendship is.
